a. Cup. Bluish glaze. Part transfer pattern, in reddish- purple under the glaze with hand painted flowers in yellow & pink and green enamel, over th glaze. Motif (repeated) of basket of flowers. Repeated inside cup. No marks. b. Saucer. Matches a. No marks. Note: pink colour shows influence o Chinese "famille rose" although design is English. Nairn number C \ 4. Nairn identified only as Staffs ca 1825.
