BODICE, 1900s circa

Bodice of pleated black silk chiffon over black sateen lining; panel a front for collar; hooks at back for skirt; 7 bones; hook and eye closure at back. Not suitable for display; possibly suitable for study collection.

Addition 21.7.82 : Info from Neil Hunsley - Extremely incomplete. Part of sleeve from CH343 is attached to hip? Originally covered with beads, cuffs and neckline. Hooks on back are of two differing kinds - probably tampered with.
