WEDDING DRESS, 1909 (Bodice & Skirt)

Wedding dress, consisting of bodice and skirt.
a) Bodice: short waisted; ecru light crepey silk, pleated at shoulders, gathered at waist, lined with cream cotton; V neck infilled with silver netting; collar of same net trimmed with lace, satin and chiffon frill; 3/4 length sleeves, ruched silk, similar trim; back closure with 12 hooks and eyes; 7 bones; eyes for skirt to hook onto.
b) Skirt: same crepey silk; straight front, full gathered, trained back; hem trimmed with broad band of cream silk satin; lined with calico petticat; pleated waistband.
