[.a] DRESS: Fashionable skirt and bodice of ivory silk with waist sash finished with large wide bow at back and trailing train-like to ground. Bodice: Deep V cross-over front, pouched. Elbow length magyar sleeves. Ivory fine crepe, lined with fine silk, inter-lined with satin. Fill-in if silk net lined with fine silk gauze which extends around the neck; gathered and then fastening at front with silver tasselled silk drawstring threaded through silver-threaded loops. Bodice lining fastens at front with six hooks and eyes. Three short bones at back. Slightly gathered at waist to give loose pouched effect. Under-sleeves of silk net gathered and drawn as for neck. Skirt: Narrow fitting, pointed train, slit at front. Caught up at back at knee level. Opens at front fastening with hooks and eyes. Ivory fine crepe, lined with ivory satin. Made by a dressmaker at Aherns in Perth.
