COATS CHAIN’ printed on each side of lid. ‘ART No. x672/Cotton Thread Made in Great Britain/12 Spools each 100 Yds. (92 Metres)’ printed on one end of lid. ‘(chain link circle) 40 Super SHEEN/CHAIN’ printed on opposite end of lid. 25mm long rectangular section cut out of this end to reveal light green sticker marked ‘678’ in black on container bottom. ‘C05TA’ ink stamped on container bottom.
