COATS/FINE NAINSOOK MERCERISED BIAS BINDING’ printed on each side of lid. ‘ART No./X939/12 Cards each 6 yds. = 5 ½ Metres/Made in Great Britain’ printed in red on end of lid. ‘(chain link circle) COATS WIDTH ½“/NAINSOOK BIAS BINDING’ printed on opposite end of lid. 25mm long rectangular section cut out of this end to reveal light blue sticker marked ‘465.’ in black on container bottom.
