DRESS, late 1920s (Bodice & Skirt)

Dress of ecru silk shantung, two pieces:
a) Bodice: loose jacket style; large mother of pearl button trim, soft foldover collar and separate revers of cream silk crepe; pseudo-blouse front of same as though revealed by open jacket; hook and buttonholed loop closure.
b) Skirt: Made in 5 panels on internal waistband of cotton petersham; mid-calf length.
Machine sewn throughout.
