DRESS, With Pelerine

Yellow-green satin day dress, v-shaped panel of ornament, pointed waist (originally probably more marked), tight sleeves with mancherons at upper arm, gather at elbow. Neck-line low on shoulders. Piped at all seams. Back fastening with brass hooks and eyes. Bodice and sleeves fully lined with glazed cotton. Boned at back along line of eyelet holes. Full skirt gathered into waistband, cut in six pieces. Pelerine has pleated front section, pointed end and is decorated with three bows of self-fabric. Piped seams. Lined with glazed cotton.
