White cotton. Bodice of coarser cotton that the skirt and machine sewn. Skirt in fine cotton. Skirt has widening "V" shaped panel of embroidery down front worked directly on to the material. Stitches satin and stem stitch and drawn threadwork. Pattern of flowers and leaves. Fine work. Repeated along hem with 2 rows of draw threadwork. Hem scalloped with knots. 7 rows of pintucks at hem back. All hand sewn.
