CH1980.154
White cotton night-gown. All hand sewn. Very short sleeves, high neck. Bodice joined to skirt with open work insertion. Garment joins at back with drawstring tape at neck and a button half way down bodice. French side seams on bodice. No seams at shoulders or on the skirt. Bottom of skirt decorated with three sets of pin tucking, each set containing three rows of tucking. Rolled hem on skirt and sleeves. Neck, sleeves and hem decorated with thin band of lace. Centre of bodice has embroidered floral design bordered with knots.
