White cotton dress. Short sleeves, high neck, bodice & skirt made from separate pieces material. Skirt gathered at waist. Panel of embroidery from neck to hem slightly tapered at waist and becoming wider down to hem. Embroidery consists of strips of open work alternating with plain sections containing one tuck and wider sections of openwork ungathered flounces with scalloped edge. This whole panel is bordered from neck to below waist, fastening with drawstring ties at waist and neck. Lace on neck and sleeves. Three tucks on bottom of skirt at back. French seams.
