White cotton with corded effect. Cut from two pieces of material & sleeves. Short sleeves. Bodice made distinctive by centre panel of pin tucks alternating with embroidered insertions. Ties attached to either side of this panel at waist. Large box pleats at side seams extending from waist to hem - gathers at back neckline. Opening at back, fastening at neck with drawstring. Embroidered band on sleeves and neck attached with coral stitch on sleeves and other stitch on neck. Flat side seams. All hand sewn, including embroidery.
