Peace. I appreciate the fact that we live in happiness. I was born at home 86 years ago in Brown Hill and have lived here since on the Eastern Goldfields. I am proud to be a West australian having reared 5 children. Now in my twilight years I find I have been looked after very well. Ina
Who we are and our place in the world. Our undaunting will to succeed, both inside and outside of Australia. John
The friendly laidback generally sweet overtones. This overwhelmed us when we moved here about 6 years ago. Now proud to say we are 'West Aussies' (smiley face) Karen
I am proud of our beautiful country and it's amazing diversity. From the green forestry of the South to the harsh rugged plains of the North. I am proud of Western Australia's beautiful beaches. They are the best in the world. Catherine
The diverse scenery and fauna from the South Coast to the Kimberly, in between and to be part of it. Kevin
I am a proud born and bred West Australian, with British ancestry. I love our country, community and sunshine. I particularly love the south west of WA and our beautiful beaches and coastline. i love how our culture is maturing and all becoming all encompassing. Lynne
I'm a bit of a cowboy. I just can't see me galloping through life alongside a Melbournian tram or alongside the Sydney Opera House. Hilary
Perth, West Australian is the BEST place to live. I have lived in several countries and Australia, Perth in particular is Paradise. WA has given so much for me and my family and now they are all proud Aussies. My children grew up ( and all my overseas visitors ) visiting WA Museums and it gave them lots of knowledge and pleasures. Thank you for making it possible for us. Chin Lan

The Telethon Speech and Hearing Centre have been helping me catch up on all the language development I've missed out on because of late diagnosis deafness. Dusty
It's where I come from, it's where I belong. I love the land, the sea and the people. This beautiful place that is home. Joanne
The generosity of our people. One third of us volunteer at something and look at the results of Telethon every year. Fran
Being isolated here in WA gives me a sense of togetherness and inner strength as being Western Australian is like being part of a family with my WA brothers and sisters. Amanda
Love this country and am glad that my parets took the decision to emigrate in 1949. Best decision they ever made. George
I love this country and I love this state! Wouldn't live anywhere else .... our beaches keep me here. Tara
I live in Shoalwater not too far from Penguin Island - this must be one of the most beautiful spots in the world, and I have seen a lot of it. I love the friendliness of West Australians, the fact we all pull together to help our those less fortunate, and I love the accessibility of our museum and art gallery - and the fact that my children and now my grandchildren were never once shooshed when visiting.
