My favourite part of living in Western Australia is our scenery. We have a spectacular coastline. Our four wheel drive has taken my family and I to the untouched hide-aways that truly take your breathe away and make you proud to live here in WA. From the most northern to the most southern we live in the most amazing state. And I am proud to be part of it. Angela

The opportunities (in mining) this state has given us. We moved from NZ with one suit case each. We work hard, saved and bought our first house in six months then bought three more soon after. We love the landscape- the bush, the beaches, especially Esperance. Shayna
This is a unique place. So different in its enviroment from the east coast. I feel Western Australians are a friendly and proud lot. Tina

I came to WA in 1964 with my husband to drill for underground water on the Nullarbor when it opened up for pastoral country. Eventually we took up a lease which my family still own. I shifted to Kalgoorlie in 1989, when my husband died. Have enjoyed living here, the people are so friendly and the community is wonderful place to make friends. I love WA Margaret
The people are friendly, willing to contribute to their communities. Strong sense of place! We have the most amazing geography and very diverse when travelling. Debra
