I'm a Fremantle born Artist and spent my childhood in the wonderful wildflower bush lands of Jandakot. My grandfather had Trezise's bakery in Palmyra and my mother was the first woman bookmaker in WA. So my family makes me proud to be Western Australian! PETITE-CHERIE

Western Australians are the most resilient people I know we come from a rugged history and are shaping the future with a diverse cultural contribution from many parts of the world. I am in Human Resources and enjoy contributing to our state through helping others I am proud of my family's contribution to farming, sport and a naturally driven propensity to help others through volunteer and community work. I love Australia and will always be a proud sandgroper. Sharyn
I've travelled all over the world and there is no better place than our city, our State. Amazing landscapes, fantastic weather and beautiful people we truly are blessed. Belinda
What makes me proud of being a West Australian is the beautiful landscapes, the openness of its people and the ability of our city Perth to continually feel like a small caring community. Sandra
My family fled war in Afghanistan and came to Australia as a refugees when i was a child. The people of WA adopted us with open arms and welcomed us to the community. I have loved WA since the day i put foot on it. The people here gave us a lot when we had little. Now it is my turn to contribute to the community here. I volunteer in my free time to keep this beautiful state of ours clean and tidy. Zia
It is a big and beautiful state with great wilderness areas. I am lucky and proud to have been born here. We have great scientists, so I hope they can find a cure for my myalgic encephalomyelitis of 13 years so I can enjoy and contribute to the state more! Brigit

I like to experience the football and soccer as well as go to the City at night. I like the Perth city, it's really cool. Jesse
After travelling the world I am proud to be from WA because Perth is an amazing city to raise a family. Apart from our beautiful weather we are lucky enough to have councils that keep amazing parks and playgrounds and strangers still say "good morning". You can still run in to an old friend at the drop of a hat. Jane
