Description: A natural and red/orange basket. It has a hollow base that angles upwards to produce a diamond shape. Three red/orange bands are evenly spread around basket body. Curator Story

 

The Kangri is a basket of the Kashmir region used to hold hot coals and warm the body during winter. While still highly steeped in tradition, these baskets are popular tourist items.
