Roy Merritt

Roy Merritt is a 73-year-old Wadjarri man who has lived in the Yamaji region all his life. After retiring with four children and ten grandchildren, Roy re-discovered a weaving technique that has its roots in the country of his childhood. His scarves drape the body with an onslaught of colour that allow Roy to reminisce upon the wildflowers of Mullewa.
