Black boxcloth with a sateen lining. Seam down centre back. Embroidered with satin braid, in flowers and long flowing stems. Taffetta inserts in flowers. Taffetta frill with frayed edge attached to collar. Satin ribbon around collar with two bows in front. Front fastens with three hooks (one missing). Five rows of stitching at hem. Two small pockets inside lining. M/c sewn, finished by hand.
