Roll of black, sateen fabric, slight sheen on one side and plain weave on the other. The selvage is reinforced with a plain, white pin-stripe. The used edge of the fabric is jagged and uneven as a result of pieces cut out of it. A short length of green cotton is attached to the selvage inside the roll
