A length of black sateen fabric rolled onto a cardboard cylinder, interleaved with a layer of cream tissue paper. The selvage of the fabric is defined by a white pin-stripe. The inside of the fabric is high sheen, the outside, a ribbed, plain weave. The working edge of the fabric is jagged from cuts made by the tailor. The cardboard cylinder is firm
