Matches CH.1980.269. Pale gold coloured silk brocade. Fastens high to neck, with 10cm wide fold-down collar, trimmed with band of gold satin. High waisted, with trim of gold braided silk cord around waist and down both fronts. Front fastening with 3 metal hooks & eyes, one possibly missing at neck. Epaulettes or mancherons of pale yellow silk at shoulders, almost in form of small puffed over-sleeve. Shaped to stand up with 4 rows of piping, caught with 3 tassels and edged with silk cord. Long sleeves, which probably extened over the wrist, with silk rouching at wrist, caught by brocade cuff, extending into silk piped tongues. Bodice and sleeve lined with glazed cotton. All hand-sewn.
