One of my most memorable moments is sport was my first Wildcats game at the Arena. It was so cool and fun and loud! Zac
Watching the Eagles win their premierships and the Scorchers winning back to back premierships are some memorable moments in sport for me. Matilda
We meet people from all around the world and share our knowledge of the area. We like to tell them where to find the wildflowers and the highlights of the area. We get lots of time to look around ourselves and really get to know the area. It's really great being a campground host - you get to meet lots of people and make lifelong friends. Kelvin
We came to Karijini for 4 nights and stayed for two months as campground hosts. We started the training one day and were hosting the next. Being a host is really wonderful, it gives you a purpose and you find out so much more than if you are just travelling on your own. Being a host allows you to find out so much more information about the place. Alexis and Paul
We became campground hosts around 10 years ago. We love the bush and the scenery. The flowers and bush is beautiful around May - August. We spend about a month at a time at a campground, welcoming people, keeping the sites clean. We love walking in the bushland. We like being advocates for the area and sharing information about the place with visitors. Keith

As campground hosts we meet a lot of different people from all over the world - many French and German backpackers and lots of families. The campsites have changed a lot - they have been redesigned to be more accessible and the amenities are really improved. Visitors love coming to the sites and they appreciate having hosts welcome them. Thelma
We became campground hosts around 6 years ago and have volunteered all over the State. We like getting out and exploring the State and contributing back. When work life is too busy is great to get into the national parks and meet people and help care for the parks. We have met people from all over the world. We share our knowledge of the local flora and fauna and let visitors know where to go and how long things take. Sometimes visitors think walks may take a long time and we let them know how long it can take, alternative routes and let them know what supplies to take. We have met many people who come back to places and its lovely to see them returning each year. Trevor
