Cynthia McMillan and CC FormanPhoto Galleries | Updated 1 decade ago Names: Cynthia McMillan and CC Forman Year: 1940 Location: Cottesloe Fashion Details: Reported in the West Australian newspaper, the bride 'wore a picture frock of soft magnolia satin. The short puff-sleeved corsage was fashioned with fullness at the top and then fitted tightly to below the waist line with a wide belt effect with scalloped outline, the heart-shaped neck being edged with...a band of seed pearls. The full skirt just touched the ground and was finished across the back with a folded belt. Her filmy magnolia-toned veil was held in place with a coronet-spray of orange blossom, and a pendant of seed pearls.' The bridesmaids each wore a dress of a different colour - delphinium blue and soft rose pink stiffened marquisette over taffeta. The wedding story: Cynthia McMillan married Flying-Officer CC Forman at St Luke's Church Claremont. Her bridesmaids were her cousins Judith Hummerston and Margaret McMillan. The reception was at the bride's parent's home and each room had a different decorative scheme of flowers.
