Auslan and Audio Tour Mobile App

The WA Museum is trialling a new smartphone app for the Unveiled exhibition to improve accessibility. 

Commentary about the wedding dresses on display has been prepared by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London and is available in:

  • Auslan sign language;
  • Audio; and
  • Text captions

The content is provided through Open Mi Tours, and you can download the free app and the commentary onto your smartphone by scanning the following QR codes:

Please install this app and open and navigate to the Western Australian Museum listing, do download all the content in advance from home, as the total file size is quite large (around 250mb). When in the exhibition, use the Open Mi Tours QR code scanner to scan the codes you see around the exhibition to access the commentary.
