The Nyctimene from Wokam, Aru island group, is morphologically close to N. albivenler papuanus. That from Kai Besar, Kai Kedl and Banda islands is described as a new subspecies of N. albiventer. The biogeographic relevance of this taxonomic separation is briefly discussed in the context ofthe mammal biogeography of these islands. Author(s) KITRCHENER, D.J., PACKER, W.C.
