Abstract: Lerista aericeps aericeps Storr. 1986 is shown to be a junior synonym of Lerista xanthura Storr. 1976, La, laeniala Storr. 19116 is a distinct species, The L. orientalis species group, of which these species are members, is diagnosed and a key to the species of the group is presented.
