A new species of Gnathoxys (Coleoptera: Carabidae: Carabinae) from an urban bushland remnant in Western Australia

ABSTRACT – Gnathoxys pannuceus sp. nov. is described and illustrated from a specimen collected from Woodman Point Reserve, Western Australia. It is distinguished from other Gnathoxys species by the highly distinctive wrinkIed pattern on tIll' elytral surface, a feature that immediately distinguishes it from all other members of the genus.
