The millipede genus Antichiropus (Diplopoda: Polydesmida: Paradoxosomatidae), part 1: redefinition of the genus and redescriptions of existing species

WA Museum Records and Supplements | Updated 8 years ago

ABSTRACT – A taxonomic review of the previously named species of the Australian endemic millipede genus Antichiropus Attems is presented. The genus is redefined and the existing nine species redescribed with lectotypes designated for seven species. New images of morphological features are included to standardise species descriptions within the genus here, and in future publications. The distribution of each species is documented.
