Brown silk with cream lace at neck and cuffs. Buttons down front with panels of wide pintucks on each side and sections of bubble ruffling at top and in sections down front of skirt. Four band ties across front section at regular intervals. Sleeves bubble ruffled all over except for plainer section at elbows. Pleated self-fabric band all around hem. Back cut in four sections shaped to waist. Small train. Gathered band trim above hemline. Cord through skirt enables train and back of skirt to be lifted when walking. Cotton lining. Part hand, part machine sewn.
