WEDDING DRESS, 1916

Cream silk, long sleeves, frill at end of cuff. 2 strips of cotton lace at front neck. Collar of 2 layers. 3 toggles on front fastens with press-studs on bodice and down skirt. Panel on front skirt, with silk ribbon threaded through. 2 tucks in skirt at sides, back and 19cm section - almost like frill at hem. Stiffened at waist and hem.
