DRESS, early 1890s (Bodice & Skirt)

Bodice and skirt of grey figured silk:
(a) Bodice: wide, low neckline trimmed with frill of net and band of machine lace; tucked, gathered front, attached to body-fitting lining of cream cotton sateen, boned at seams, watch pocket above left breast; round waist with hooks for skirt at front and back and fabric loop to connect with internal elastic (?); long sleeves with self frills over wrist.
(b) Skirt: 9 gores, flat at front, very full at back; placket opening at left front; lined with stiffened brown cotton; elastic ties inside back to keep fullness in place; belt of same fabric.
Dress is described on earlier label as a wedding outfit; no other details.
