The metal thermos has wooden handle attached to a thick metal wire which is wound (not fully) once around two knobs, one either side of the thermos. Inside has coating of fluorescent blue glass with a sphere shaped bottom, a clear glass circle appears at the bottom of the inside of the thermos. There are two removable tops - a domed sealer and a circular lid. On circular (outer) lid appears the words: CASTLE/ VACUUM/ BOTTLE encircled with a circle - the writing and circle are raised, but are inside a lowered area of the lid. The raised writing can be seen from the inside of the lid. The lids are not screwed on but ridges appear on one outer lid and on the thermos itself. The top of the blue glass layer is raised above the metal of the thermos. On the underside of the thermos are two raised ridges and one outside deepened ridge, all evenly spaced around the bottom of the thermos, the knobs on which the handle holds is displayed with a thatched and criss-cross fashion, the wooden handle is coated with a varnish and is carved with one ridge at either end of the handle. Inside the thermos the blue glass tapers inwards at the top before evening out to follow the same diameter until the bottom of the thermos.
