TIN, BEAR TAPE
H1996.191
Flat, round, metal, tin with metal push-on lid. Lid is painted yellow, blue and white on outer and pale yellow inner. On outside of lid is a yellow circle in centre with a bear's head pictured. Around bear it says 'BEAR/ BRAND/ No. 175/ TRANSPARENT/ 1 ROLL/ ½ x 792/ INCHES/ CELLULOSE/ TAPE'. There is a white circle around centre and then a pattern of blue and yellow triangles to the edge. At bottom there is 1 white triangle with the picture of a bear and says 'BEHRMANNING'. The side of lid is blue and in yellow print says 'Made in Australia by BEHR-MANNING (AUSTRALIA) PTY. LTD. , Lidcombe, N.S.W. No. 175-TRANSPARENT-1 ROLL ½ x 792 INCHES'. The base of the tin has a circular depression. Both sides of tin are pale yellow. Inside tin gives a direction for tape maintainence in red print.
