Rectangular metal biscuit tin with Arnott, Mills and Ware insignia on the cover. Sticky tape around the lid of tin. Cover of tin has a blue, red, green and yellow parrot on a perch eating a cracker. The rest of the cover has text written on it. Text on cover reads:
'ARNOTT'S/ FAMOUS/ SPECIAL SELECTION/ BISCUITS/ ARNOTT'S/ TRADE MARK 'REGISTERED'. A sticker covers a small patch of tin on right hand side, sticker is silver and red and text reads '450g NET/ ARNOTT'S/ BISCUITS/ USED BY 31st MARCH 1989/ 11502'. The rest of the tin is painted black with text 'ARNOTT'S famous BISCUITS' written on two sides. Text on bottom of tin reads ' Special selection/ Biscuit Assortment/ 450g NET/ Arnotts famous parrot trade mark based on the / original label of yesteryear./ CONTENTS/ Scotch Finger/ Tina Wafer/ Kingston/ Shortbread cream/ Nice/ Monte Carlo/ Triple Wafer/ Made in Australia/ STORE IN A COOL,/ DRY PLACE AWAY/ FROM LIGHT./ 9310072004228/ Arnott's famous Biscuits/ There is no Substitute for Quality/ This assortment may change from time to time by the/ substitution of other varieties for one or more of the above./ ARNOTT'S BISCUITS LIMITED.
