Sword bayonet of Yataghan style - British 1856 pattern. For the Martini-Henry rifle.
[.a] 17 inch socket type with locking ring. Long curved blade and deep fuller. Marked at ricasso B/72. Straight crossguard with finials on eiher end, marked on edge 'star'. Leather handgrip crosshatched by small rivets arranged. Metal pommel with curved tip marked B/47.
