Medium sized solid metal cylinder, engraved on the top with a U.S cap badge template. The U.S Army badge features the coat of arms of the United States of America. It depicts the American eagle in the centre, with a shield on the eagle’s chest with vertical and diagonal stripes engraved. In its left claw it holds a sprig of laurel, in the right claw a bundle of ten arrows. On the scroll, spread above the eagle’s wings, is the motto ‘E/PURIBUS/UMUM’. Above the scroll is a glory (cloud and thirteen stars) of ten raised dots with thirteen stars in the centre. Faint unidentifiable yellow marks are visible across the top right hand side of the scroll and stars.
