AUSTRALIAN AERO CLUB BADGE

CH1983.486

The badge features a bird (probably an eagle) in full flight with a blue circular enamel background featuring the Southern Cross. Surrounding this background is a band of blue enamel bearing the incripstion 'AUSTRALIAN AERO CLUB'. The badge was attached to the clothing by a pin found on the back of the badge. The back bears the inscription 'V.536' engraved roughly into the surface.
