[1] Small, rectangular, black leather covered, purple stain and velour interior, hinged box for Anzac Commemorative Medallion. Curved edges, rounded corners, with single gold coloured metal hinge on back edge. Light purple satin lined interior of lid, with hinged, medallion sized cut out, dark purple velour lined base. Base hinges upwards for display, small satin tab in top centre to pull base upwards. Plain black plastic below velour hinged base. Velour worn around edges of sunken cut out, where medallion placed/lifted out from. All other materials in as new condition; no discernible marks to satin interior, three small dull patches on bottom side of leather exterior.
[2] Large, oval shaped, bronze, ‘1915/ ANZAC/ G.D. SHAW’, Anzac Commemorative Medallion. Crown motif above circular field, bordered on lower edge by wreath of olive leaves, underneath which lies a rectangular scroll, reads ‘ANZAC’. Field shows sparse battlefield scene in background, with donkey carrying a wounded soldier, whose arms are draped around shoulders of fellow soldier, supporting wounded and controlling donkey, with ‘1915’ slightly off centre, at top of field. Thick, plain edge and border. Reverse reflects crown motif of top side, with circular field, larger fern-like wreath border on lower edge, with blank scroll, engraved with ‘G.D. SHAW’. Field has raised geographically accurate motif of Australia and New Zealand. Raised, five stars of the Southern Cross constellation lie above and between the two countries. Medallion in generally good condition, unmarked but metal tarnished. Slight dirty mark to left of ‘1915’. Remnants of white residue on edges of medallion, polish residue?
[3] Small, oval shaped, bronze, ‘1915/ ANZAC/ G.D. SHAW’, badge replica of Anzac Commemorative Medallion. Crown motif above circular field, bordered on lower edge by wreath of olive leaves, underneath which lies a rectangular scroll, reads ‘ANZAC’. Field shows sparse battlefield scene in background, with donkey carrying a wounded soldier, whose arms are draped around shoulders of fellow soldier, supporting wounded and controlling donkey, with ‘1915’ slightly off centre, at top of field. Thin, plain edge. Reverse plain, with small double hole badge secure, with ‘G.D. SHAW’, engraved beneath, in centre of field. Small, raised, circular lump of metal at top of field, pin mechanism broken off?, with white polish? residue. Polish? residue over face of badge, metal slightly tarnished. Top of reverse has remnants of shiny residue, reverse more heavily tarnished than front, some scratches over field.
