BADGE, German, iron, wreath edge

Small, oval shaped, iron, 'GOLD GAB ICH/ 1914/ FÜR EISEN', wreath edge, badge. Oak leaf and acorn wreath, meets at top centre and 'tied' at bottom with crossed over ribbon motif. Legend text is imprinted/raised, plain, smooth field. Reverse: Wreath and text imprinted/hollowed. Simple, horizontal pin fastening, hinged at proper right, hook at proper left. Rusted at hook, and over 'GOLD' legend text.
