TRUNK, ‘Vajda’, wooden, with lock

H2009.84

Large, light brown, rectangular, hinged lid with metal latches, wood trunk. Metal latch on proper right side front secured with metal key lock. Metal handle on proper left side. On front and top painted in black; ‘Vajda’. Painted on top in white; ‘E116’ and ‘ALADAR’. Also painted on top in black; ‘AUSTRALIA’. Key lock imprinted with; ‘SILA’. Constructed using finger joints (comb joint) and nailed together.
