EVENING FOB, Masonic Lodge

Black fabric and gold metal evening fob, hangs down vertically. At top of fob is gold metal bar with scrolls at side, and short metal chain attached to top centre of bar. There is a small circular clip at the top of the chain. De Bernales gold metal crest is attached on the black fabric about one thir dfrom the top. Crest is a knights helmet with three plumes, and a metal bar below the shoulder plate, inscribed in latin "VIRTUS ET HONOS". The black fabric is looped through a second metal bar with scrolls at the half way point of the fabric. Hanging from a chain attached to this second metal bar is a gold ball, with four clasps holding (like a claw). Engraved at the base of the ball, "PAT.26391/20 / REGD" [The back slash between 26391 and 20 is engraved on the ball, does not denote a new line]. Each of the four clasps has a small pin on the end of it which fits in a four holes on the ball. If the clasps are prised apart, the ball, which is hinged, opens up into six pyramid sections. Each face of the pyramid has a symbol engraved on it, as follows:
Centre pyramid: Each face of the pyramid has the same symbol engraved on it, a kind of knot or folded arms symbol.
Pyramid above centre: An eye, five pointed star (pentagonal star), star of David, a hammer
Pyramid to the left of the centre: Envelope, triangle, triangle with diamond motif inside, a brick pyramid
Pyramid to right of centre: Book, skull and crossbones, crossbones, fern
Pyramid first below centre: two cross flags (?), two pyramid motifs, a triangle with an upside down T protruding from base of triangle
Pyramid second below centre: Moon, sun, freemason symbol, triangle with J symbol.
