CEREMONIAL SASH

Ceremonial sash, part of cermonial clothing, made of woven violet silk with rose branch pattern and symbols of faith (cross), love (heart) and fidelity 9anchor) and other symbols including a trumpet, open palm, torcha and sword together. On both sides along the sash are red woven silk stripes. Both sides of the sash are decorated with fringes made of wire which is twisted.
In the middle is embroidered Coat of Arms with inscription: 'INDEPENDENT ORDER OF ODD FELLOWS MANCHESTER UNITY' which is surrounded with floral - rose ornamentation, then with the shield, and two allegorical figures with symbols aside them of faith (cross) and fidelity (anchor).
Above the coat of arms is a Badge attached to the sash which is laid on the eight pointed star ornamented with tinsel and wire cords. Badge is made of metal relief covered with golden colour with presentation of shield and two allegorical (angel) figures representing faith and fidelity.
Tassel made of wire cord, is hinged at the badge. Another badge which is attached lower to connect free sides of the sash is made of metal relief with globe in the middle across which one is written: 'BRITAIN' and is rounded with laurel wreath. Fringes are hinged on the badge.
