Green velvet collar lined with green cotton (lining quilted). Gold metal fringing around the edges. Metal braid also around edges with initials "HACBS" (Hibernian Australasian Catholic Benefit Society) separated with a cross. Embroidered on front in gold metal thread; "DPP" (Deputy Past President) on one side, "WA" on the other. In the centre is "H.A.C.B.S." and below it a cross. To the left of the cross is an Irish harp with an Irish wolfhound sitting beside it, with a tree at the left. To the right of the cross is a kangaroo and an emu (embroidered in cotton thread) either side of a shield with a white ground and red cross. Below this scene is a red silk embroidered ribbon, embroidered in silver metal thread with "FAITH-HOPE-CHARITY" and below it are metal thread embroidered shamrocks. Additional collar around neck edge of main collar with pointed tips, gold metal thread fringing amd embroidered shamrocks in metal thread. Black and gold maker's label on centre back of lining: "HORDEN BROTHERS LTD / Regalia Makers / GEORGE STREET, SYDNEY". Worn at funerals and on special occasions.
