Obverse: 'PAYABLE AT DAVID PETERS WINE AND SPIRIT SHOP', Spirit still & casks in circle of points, legend around design.
Reverse; 'PERTH HALFPENNY / 1797', Arms of Perth: A double-headed eagle with shield on breast in which sheep left, head right, with standard held in mouth, motto on scroll held in eagle's claws.
