Bronze finish rim and detailing, circular centre with banner at bottom and swirled details at top. Cream enamel background, eagle or hawk with outstretched wings in centre with laurel wreath held in claws. Greek and Australian flag crossed over on flag poles above. T shaped blue enamel details around outside border of circular section. Cream enamel curved banner at bottom with blue enamel rectangular section, text 'G.A.R.S.L'. Bronze finish detailing at top. Reverse: brass finish, text 'SHERIDAN/ PERTH' running sideways in box outline on either side of depressed rectangle area with brooch fixing (no pin or catch attached) and discoloured in centre.
