[8-9] Two labels, same image design as [1], text reads ‘SPECIAL LIGHT/ SWAN/ LAGER’ in oval design. Below that is ‘FULLY BREWED/ LOW ALCOHOL BEER’. Vertically down left side ‘345ML 0.9% ALC.VOL’ and down right side ‘BOND BREWING 26 ST GEORGE’S TERRACE, PERTH, WA, 6000’. All on white background with gold border around label.

[10-12] Three labels, large rectangular (portrait) red, white and gold paper ‘SWAN LIGHT’ beer labels. Oval design shows black swan on gold background above ‘SWAN’ all surrounded by red border which contains two barley sprigs and ‘SPECIAL LIGHT/ LAGER’ below this design is ‘LOW ALCOHOL BEER/ 750ML 0.9% ALC/VOL/ THE SWAN BREWERY COMPANY LTD.,/ 25 BAILE ROAD, CANNING VALE W.A. 6155/ PRODUCT OF AUSTRALIA’. Top and bottom of label have gold stripes.

Central oval design of stylised swan on gold background surrounded by red border with two barley sprigs and two black banners. Arabic writing is curved above the oval, inside top part of red border and on each of the black banners. Below inside red border reads ‘SWAN’, a line of Arabic text runs across the bottom. Printed vertically down left is a barcode and ‘PRODUCTION DATE 2/98/ EXPIRY DATE 2/99’. Printed down right side is one line of Arabic text, below is ‘CONTENTS: MALT, HOPS AND WATER ONLY.’ Below that is another line of Arabic.

Top and bottom have gold stripes, central oval design with black swan on gold background inside a red border. Arabic text inside top of red border, ‘SWAN’ printed beneath swan image. Beneath oval is two lines of Arabic text, third line is half Arabic with ‘375ML’ at end. Printed down left side ‘PROD DATE 1/91/ EXP DATE 1/92’ adjacent is presumably the same text in Arabic as both lines start with ‘91/1’ and ‘92/1’ followed by Arabic text. Printed down right side is four lines of text, first and third are Arabic, second reads ‘CONTENTS: MALT, HOPS AND WATER ONLY’ and fourth reads ‘PRODUCT OF AUSTRALIA’

Label has white background with gold border, top centre is oval design of a black swan on gold background above ‘SWAN’ surrounded by red border. Inside the red border is two barley sprigs and ‘SPECIAL LIGHT/ LAGER’. Printed beneath the oval design is ‘375ML 0.9% ALC/VOL/ FULLY BREWED/ LOW ALCOHOL BEER’. Printed in gold down left side ’25 BAILE ROAD CANNING VALE, PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA’ and down right side ‘BREWED AND BOTTLED BY THE SWAN BREWERY CO. LTD.’

[20-23] Four large rectangular (portrait) white gold and blue paper ‘SWAN/ SPECIAL/ LIGHT’ labels. White background with gold border. Text reads ‘SWAN/ SPECIAL/ LIGHT’ above a central horseshoe-shaped logo. Central area of horseshoe shows black swan on blue background above ‘BREWED & BOTTLED BY/ THE SWAN BREWERY CO. LTD./ 25 BAILE RD., CANNING VALE, PERTH,/ WESTERN AUSTRALIA’. Surrounding that in a gold horseshoe shape is two sprigs of barley with ‘LAGER’ across the top. The base shows a red banner with ‘FULL FLAVOUR’. Beneath this design is ‘LOW ALCOHOL BEER/ 750ML 0.9% ALC/VOL’.

[24] One large rectangular (portrait) white gold and blue paper ‘SWAN/ SPECIAL/ LIGHT’ label. White background with gold border. Same central design as above. Different text at the bottom. ‘REDUCED/ ALCOHOL BEER/ 750ML 0.9% ALC/VOL’. Some brown marks across the swan design.

[25-27] Three small square (rounded corners) white gold and blue paper ‘SWAN/ SPECIAL LIGHT’ labels. Design is the same as H2013.892.20-23. Text below central logo is different. ‘LOW ALCOHOL BEER/ 375ML 0.9% ALC/VOL’.

[28-30] Three small rectangular (with a rounded edge along the top?) white, gold and red paper ‘SWAN’ labels. These labels appear to be designed for export as the text is largely in an Arabic script. Central gold horse-shoe shaped logo shows a gold and red upside down U. In the centre of the U is a black swan on gold background with two lines of text underneath. Inside the gold & red U (on either side of the swan) is two sprigs of barley, and above is ‘SWAN’. Across the open bottom of the upside down U, is a red banner with white text. On the white background there is one line of text above the central logo, two below, on line running vertically down the left side and two vertically down the right.

The envelope these labels are contained in is labelled ‘SWAN LAGER LIGHT’.
