DRESS, evening, black net, leaf motifs

Mid-length, short sleeved, cross-over V neck, A-line skirt, black net, lined, cream, heavily discoloured, applied/embroidered, leaf style motifs, 1950s style, evening dress. Cross-over V neck to stitched waist, straight shoulders to sleeve cuff, small darts around bust to side seams. Metal ‘WiC’ zip on left side seam waist (210mm). Skirt gathered at waist with a single centre seam. Leaf motifs heavily discoloured, from gold/cream to silver/white. Strong rust mark on right breast. Holes in net; left shoulder, right cuff, large patch across centre seam, near hip height. Pulled threads in leaf design on lower left leg. Reverse: leaf motifs less discoloured, cream. Collar rust stained. Two darts from waist, up to shoulders. Single centre seam down skirt, from waist to hem. Holes in net; both lower legs, top of shoulders, right waist band. Inside: lining made of dull satin? Seams machine finished. Waist seam frayed. Small hole under right arm, staining under both arms. Fabric in very good condition, but discoloured embroidery.
