DRESS, floral liberty print, ‘Mode Wäsche’

Long, short sleeved, collared, buttoned collar to hem, multi-coloured (light blue, dark blue, yellow, pink, red, white, green), busy floral, liberty-like print on black/dark navy blue background, ‘Mode Wäsche’, dress. Peterpan collar, yellowed stain on left collar point, with 16 fabric-covered round buttons collar to cuff (missing 17th, bottom button). Puff sleeves, gathered at set-in-sleeve, tapered at cuff, with three darts, yellowed stain on left cuff. Rounded patch pocket on left breast and right hip, Long dart on each side, from bust to hem. Some small holes and pulls throughout fabric, pattern makes them difficult to discern. Reverse: plain, waist seam, two darts shoulder to hem (one each side), some pulled threads throughout fabric. Slight discolouration all over. Inside: as new lining, dark/navy blue silk? Satin? Waist seam, two cut out cream hanging tabs inside arm seams. Maker’s label inside collar, purple and white ‘MODE/ Gr. WӒSCHE 44’, with liberty fabric hanging tab.
