CHEMISE, short, pink, satin
H2008.144
Short, sweetheart neckline, apricot-pink, simple design, satin, hand-altered chemise. Folds and creases across fabric, with small dark sport of discolouration/staining throughout, dark stained patches under arms. Spaghetti straps have been shortened, front neckline changed from round? V-neck? to sweetheart neckline (back unchanged), appears to have been cut shorter from longergarment (slip?), side hem appears original/unaltered, original front darts unaltered. Small holes over left breast, worn thin/worn through under right arm and on right dart, small hole on left and right back shoulders. Bottom hem hand-stitched unevenly, particularly lumpy on sides, especially on right side.
