[1] Camisole, black, hand embroidered bodice. Boxy, black, synthetic, hand embroidered and cut out dot, floral and linear design bodice, women’s babydoll camisole. Thin spaghetti straps, square/straight neck, drawstring ruched neck, with adjacent embroidery and cut out design bodice, gold stitch hem, neck and back. Small hole in centre of waist, otherwise fabric in very good condition. Semi-sheer against light. Reverse: white stain in centre of back and waist, ‘peg marks’ at hem, both sides. Fabric worn thin around hips. Inside: some areas of side seam worn/frayed. White and blue small size label on inside, back left strap ‘44’.

[2] Bloomers, black, basic gold stitched design. Black, synthetic, basic single gold stitched V design, frequently hand repaired and patched, women’s babydoll set bloomers. Elasticised waist, hand repaired seams, V shaped single gold stitch machined design. Hand repaired ‘spots’ on both thighs, small holes and white stains on lower right thigh, small patch of fabric worn thin on lower left thigh. Hand patched inner things and gusset, hem fabric worn. Reverse: small worn holes on lower right thigh to hem, pulled threads in fabric near left hem. Fabric worn thin across bottom and centre seam. Inside: small white and blue size label ‘44’ on centre of back seam. Elastic coming loose on waist band, both sides. Gusset fabric worn thin/heavily patched.
